種まき適期は9月～11月、収穫まで約50日です。亀戸大根は江戸野菜のひとつで幻の大根と言われています。茎が白く葉が大きく根はクサビ状に尖った実の柔らかいダイコンです。水分が少なくきめが細かい特徴がありカブに近い食感が特徴です。普通の大根に比べてビタミンCが2倍以上含まれています。
